Let’s get back together

Where have you been?  What have you been doing lately?

Around here things are positively summery…days at the beach, swimming lessons at the pool, gymnastics, camp (when Luke feels like waking up on time) and lots of ice cream.  Also, we’ve been on the lookout for a new home.  Ours is for sale, as I’ve mentioned before.  Finding our new dream home has proved unsuccessful so far but I do enjoy the hunt.

One more thing.  The timing of this is sort of funny since we’re planning to move but I participated in a Design Mom home tour.  Check it out here if you’d like to take a look.

I’ll try to check in with you all more often this month but until then I hope you’re sneaking in ways to relax and enjoy these fleeting long days.  Here are a few links to check out if you’re in the mood…

  • A home tour from an actor I crushed on as a kid
  • When I was a kid we had siblings and cousins, a garden hose and our imaginations – playdates didn’t exist
  • An incredible video that celebrates life.  A must watch.
  • Coming home.  Well, sort of.

  1. What a great post! Your blog is pretty fantastic as well. I’m a fan. 🙂

I also have a home design post today, and my first ever poll. It’d be great if you could check it out and leave your opinion.
